We're used to B.Cers seeking fame in L.A. but in Regina? A coastal carload is off to the prairies to film the bank rob- ery misadventure A Shot in the Face. Character players John Cassini and Ben Ratner join Nicholas Lea (recently killed off on The X-Files and Katharine Isabell (Ginger Snaps).

Cassini's short drama Freedom Park is playing festivals. His friends helped - Lea was exec producer, waydowntown's Fabrizio Filippo held the boom, and Jennifer Beals shot stills.
